Ibistan

Old Throngholds of the Iron Staff League, Ibistan and Shun-Comfort are as physically alike as two planets can be. Both are riddled with mines, holdings and workings, and dominated by the great Holds of the clans. Like many of the systems in the Dominion, the planets orbit dying red stars that are surrounded by disturbed gravitic vortices and resultant broken asteroid belts, shattered planetoids and other debris.

The worlds are thus well-defended, though this comes at the price of surfaces uninhabitable even to the hardy squat abhumans. Massive Land Trains, Leviathan crawlers and other mighty vehicles are required to gather surface material, and most inhabitants dwell deep underground in the ancient Holds.

Ibistan was the site of the begrudged Compliance of the League to the Imperium; an event that still causes much beard-chewing, complaints and resentment amongst the greybeards of the clans.
