2nd Reserve Cruiser Flotilla

The 2nd Reserve Cruiser Flotilla is a small fleet of seven cruisers - all of out-moded design - recently bought out of moth-balled retirement to replace heavy Imperial Navy losses to the Necrons in the Antona Australis sector. They are currently under the leadership of Reserve-Admiral Hieronymus Frost who commands from his flagship Warspite, an ancient Repulsive class grand cruiser. This ship was originally laid down in M32 and - like much of the fleet - last saw active service circa M37. The officers and work-gangs of the Imperial Navy are currently struggling to adapt to the unfamiliar systems of these dated vessels; communications faults and other technical problems continue to dog the fleet.
